The announcement took place today during a press conference in his hometown Mexico City, where passionate fans of all ages turned out to see their favorite performer become the newest addition to the WWE roster.

Having already forged a strong international fan following, Sin Cara, known for his high flying style and awe inspiring acrobatics, is expected to reach new heights of global success with WWE.

Cena vs Rock to Wait for WrestleMania 28

For what it’s worth, most sources within WWE do not see a match between The Rock and John Cena happening anytime soon, or a match between Rock and The Miz. There’s speculation that Cena and Rock may be building towards something for WrestleMania 28 in 2012 but that’s not confirmed.

Updated On Undertaker/HHH Storyline

Triple H and The Undertaker are the ones putting together their current program for WrestleMania 27, with minimal input from WWE creative.

Taker was originally scheduled to face Wade Barrett and Triple H was set to face Sheamus at WrestleMania but the two got together and realized that WrestleMania 27 had no special match. As WWE’s two most power political forces, they felt they could take control of their own angle without much in the way of outside influence.

Shawn Michaels is still expected to be introduced into the storyline and have a role at WrestleMania, possibly as a referee or an enforcer. The idea behind the storyline is that Triple H is going at Taker for revenge after Taker ended his best friend’s career.

Ross Comments Post PPV

Jim Ross is back with another blog on jrsbarbq.com with his thoughts on last night's WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Here are some highlights:

Alberto Del Rio:

Alberto Del Rio is evolving nicely. Love his cross arm breaker finisher. Del Rio gets into his finishing maneuver very cleverly. I'm buying Alberto Del Rio and feel that he will have a successful outing at WM27.

The SmackDown Chamber and Christian's return:
The Smackdown Elimination Chamber match was big league. One of the best PPV bouts I've seen in a long time especially one involving multiple participants. It earned a FULL bottle of sauce rating.
Nice to see Christian return as he's been on the injured list for months. 'Captain Charisma' is due to have a big 2011. Very skilled, underrated talent.

Trish Stratus' return:

Another Canadian import made her return as well as Trish Stratus had an enhanced , surprise cameo on the PPV. The brunette Trish is just as lovely as the blond Trish. Good to hear that she's going to be a Tough Enough trainer. I'm watching.

Michael Cole:
The Voice of WWE, or so he says, Michael Cole really had an impassioned rant in the post match of the WWE Title bout where it was almost as if Cole was channeling a classic verbal barrage from Mr. McMahon or Jesse 'the Body' Ventura when both were having 'bad days.' Very 'I want to slap this guy' type of delivery and verbiage.

It will be interesting to see how Cole's rant is addressed Monday night on Raw as it relates to sitting next to King at their announce table.

John Cena and The Rock:
If you had Fruity Pebbles is the answer as to how John Cena responded to the Rock's Cena fueled in ring promo Monday night on Raw then you win. However, one has to know that a more serious retort is coming at some point from the #1 contender to the WWE Title.

The Coach Speaks Out About Working with Vince McMahon

Former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman was interviewed last week by the As The World Turns Left blog and an spoke at length about what it was like working for WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

"There were times, especially when I started doing the bigger shows, where I — you know, he’s a perfectionist, he built it from the ground up, I respected him and still do to this day — and because of the way he was, so hard, so difficult, I got to the point where I could almost repeat in within a quarter or half a second what he was telling me," Coachman said.

"We got that much in synch. It’s difficult. There were times when I’d leave a show, and literally, I don’t know what a migraine headache is, but I think that’s what I had. Your head is really pounding, and it feels like it’s just going to explode after asking your brain to shape everything perfectly for two hours. So, did I enjoy it all the time? No. Did it make me mentally, incredibly strong? Absolutely.

"And I always said this the last two or three years I was there: No matter who I work for when I leave here, it’ll be like working for Mister Rogers compared to working for him. And I mean that in a good way. We left on the best of terms, and I still go and see everybody when they’re around, in Hartford or Springfield or Bridgeport.

"And we get along great. So, it was a great time for me. Anybody that complains isn’t mentally tough, and I don’t want to hear it. I hate people that leave and then bash him, bash the company and say what a horrible guy he is, because he’s not. He just asks a lot. And you’ve got a bring a lot, that’s it."

Ross on the Rock After WM 27, Lawler's Title Shot

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights of what Jim Ross spoke about:

Jerry Lawler's WWE Title Shot on Sunday: "Jerry is genuinely excited about being in the main event of a WWE PPV which will be this Sunday in Oakland at the Elimination Chamber vs. the Miz for the WWE Title. Personally, I feel that Jerry needs to get away his recent heartaches and get back on the road that he is so comfortable with and, more importantly, get back in the ring which is like a second home for him. King is much more refined and skilled than is the younger, less experienced albeit talented Miz which may bode well for the #1 challenger for the WWE title come Sunday. I would not miss this PPV for the world because I believe that shocks and surprises from WWE will abound over the next few weeks leading into WM27 and no one can argue that Jerry Lawler upsetting Miz to win the WWE title wouldn't be a HUGE shocker."

The Rock's WWE Plans After WM27: "I have no idea what Rock's plans are as they relate to WWE after WM27. I haven't given it much thought but many fans are seemingly obsessed in knowing what the Rock's plans are for the future. I don't see Rock emotionally ever leaving the WWE Universe but I also don't see him appearing as a 'regular' on WWE programming in the future either which is why this Wrestlemania event is so intriguing and is such a must see pay per view. We are attending the event AND buying and taping the PPV."

WWE All Stars:
"The new, THQ produced WWE All Star Video game is getting more and more play as the anticipation builds to it's release the Tuesday of WM27 week. There will be a tie in with JR's Family BBQ on this exciting new game so please watch for details

Ross Talks About The Rock's Role at WM 27

Jim Ross commented more on The Rock’s future with WWE on his website:

“I don’t’ know the Rock’s exact role at WM27 other than I am confident it will be impactful even without him wrestling a match. He says that he is not going to wrestle again and I take Rock at his word. I feel he’s back for a one night only appearance for now but I can’t predict the future. Rock will never ‘emotionally’ leave WWE but his movie schedule, etc will likely never allow him to return full time. WM28 is too far off for me to even remotely comment or guess on what might happen. Now…head to the store and order some of the best tasting products known to man.

I think that Rock has wrestled his last match already. I do think that he will confront Cena at WM27 in some shape, form or fashion.”

“My goal is to create an incredible show. That means I will be backstage and in the ring creating unforgettable and iconic WrestleMania moments. ”

To be clear, not that they ever make me mad. I just thought the comments were an interesting choice of things to say. ”

He's Back......

The Rock appeared live on tonight’s show and received a major ovation from the crowd. The Rock said that he has finally returned home and wasn’t back for the money or to promote a movie, but he was back for the fans. He thanked the fans and said he would never, ever be going away.

The Rock called John Cena out on RAW, saying he wanted to see Cena face-to-face at WrestleMania 27. Rock brought up how Cena had talked trash about him once he left WWE. The Rock continued to mock Cena’s look and his gimmick, which the fans ate up. Below are highlights from a chat The Rock did with WWE’s website after RAW.

JR Blog: Packers at SmackDown, WrestleMania Host, Lesnar

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JrsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights of what JR said about:

WrestleMania Guest Host: “We’ve gotten a wide array of suggestions as to who folks think will be the Guest Host of Wrestlemania 27 that emanates from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Bob Barker, Justin Beiber, ‘Arnold the Governor,’ The Rock, Stone Cold, Aaron Rodgers, Ted Turner, Dusty Rhodes, Mr. McMahon, the RAW General Manager revealed, etc. I’m happy that I don’t know who it is and will enjoy watching Monday Night Raw that much more to find out.

Brock Lesnar Hosting The Ultimate Fighter: “Brock Lesnar is reportedly doing an excellent job in his role as a coach for TUF that begins airing on Spike in a few weeks. This will lead into to the Lesnar-Junior Dos Santos fight later this year which will greatly enhance the UFC PPV headlined by these two heavyweights. Yes, ‘business is picking up’ for these two, talented heavyweights who are both looking for a title opportunity. Sources say Lesnar and his family and complete training camp are living in a luxury home in Vegas while TUF is being taped. This is a magnificent marketing opportunity for Brock’s upcoming book written with Paul Heyman not to mention Lesnar’s merch line ‘Death Clutch.’ In all due respect, I’d rather winter a few weeks in Vegas as opposed to Northern Minnesota but that’s must me.”

Green Bay Packers At SmackDown: “I hear that many of the Packers made quite the impact at the Smackdown TV taping in Green Bay Tuesday might. Star linebacker Clay Mathews has been tweeting about it. Congrats to all the Packer fans from a Steeler fan who freely admits that the better team won on Sunday in Arlington.”

Sting Still a Free Agent According to Wrestling Observer Radio

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer stated during yesterday’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that there has been absolutely no contact between Steve “Sting” Borden and World Wrestling Entertainment officials.

Another source reports that WWE wanted Sting to work a full schedule, something that he would most likely not be interested in. Another source reports that Sting may have actually already re-signed with TNA but that’s not confirmed. The feeling in the TNA locker room last week was that Sting was headed to WWE but recent reports suggest otherwise.

One former WWE writer talks about the possibility of Sting joining WWE. He states that although WWE has done a good job developing some young stars this year that will be featured in big matches this year such as Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, and The Miz, the one thing this year's WrestleMania lacks is a big-time "dream match." Based on the tone of his article, I would suspect that WWE has signed Sting and the reports that are coming out are just trying to swerve fans into thinking he hasn't been signed.

Jim Ross followed up on comments made last week regarding rumors of Sting wrestling The Undertaker at WrestleMania, saying he doesn’t see the former wrestling champion appearing “in WWE any time soon.”

He wrote in the Q&A section of his official website: “Will Sting ever come to WWE? Does a 51-year-old guy want to engage in an ambitious, road schedule or any schedule?
