Cole Training for a Role in the Ring at Somepoint

Michael Cole has been learning to take bumps more recently in preparation for his upcoming guest referee roles at RAW live events. There are still plans for Cole to wrestle a match before too long as Vince McMahon still looks at Cole as one of WWE’s top heels.

Talk of Barrett vs Taker Still on for WM 27

There is still talk of having Wade Barrett vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27, if something with Brock Lesnar doesn’t happen. While it appears after last night’s RAW that Barrett is gone from Nexus, there’s been no confirmation on his status. It’s possible he may end up on SmackDown. A babyface turn for Barrett has also been rumored.

Brock Lesnar Interested In WrestleMania 27

Several MMA websites are reporting that Brock Lesnar is rumored to be looking for a way to get out of his UFC contract. Apparently Lesnar is wanting to work WWE’s WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view in Atlanta next year and has been talking with officials from the company.

Lesnar reportedly hasn’t talked with anyone from UFC or answered their phone calls since losing the UFC Heavyweight Title to Cain Velasquez last month. Sources also say that Lesnar hasn’t began to prepare for his next UFC fight and hasn’t trained since losing to Velasquez.

It’s said that Lesnar has lost some interest in MMA and has been been re-considering his future in the sport after his loss to Velasquez and the beating he took in the win against Shane Carwin before that.

Lesnar, who is said to be actively looking to perform at WrestleMania, reportedly has only one fight left on his current UFC contract.

Kaval Done with WWE; Released

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE SmackDown Superstar Kaval (Brandon Silvestry) as of today, December 23, 2010. We wish Kaval the best in all future endeavors.

The word in WWE is that Kaval (known as Low Ki on the independents circuit) was released because the company didn’t have any plans for him, and as such it was an amicable departure by the winner of NXT Season 2.

It’s unlikely Kaval will be working for any nationally televised companies any time soon due to the typical 90 day no-compete clause.

The high flyer was signed by World Wrestling Entertainment in 2008 and spent a lot of time in WWE developemental before he was brought up to NXT.

Original Plan for the Intercontinental Title Match at TLC

The original plan for the WWE Intercontinental Title match at last night’s pay-per-view was for Dolph Ziggler to actually catch the belt when it fell from Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger on the ladder. Instead, the finish was botched a bit as Dolph picked the belt up after it had fallen.

MVP Coming Back to the WWE?

MVP, who recently left WWE after asking for his release, has reportedly been told by WWE officials that he is "more than welcome" to come back to WWE if he makes the decision to return. As previously reported, MVP felt that he wasn't being properly booked and was also unhappy with his overall position in the company.

He has since expressed interest in working in both Japan and Europe, but nothing has been set in stone yet. It is also very highly unlikely that MVP will sign with TNA Wrestling because he doesn't want to "burn the bridge" with WWE.

As of right now, there is no word on whether or not MVP will return to WWE anytime soon.

From: TMZ

Hulk Hogan is about to walk down the aisle again -- TMZ has learned the wrestling legend will marry his 35-year-old fiancée this evening at sunset.

It's all going down at the Hogan compound in Clearwater, Florida. We're told Hulk will take his girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel's hand during an intimate ceremony ... with only close friends and family invited.

Hulk's kids, Brooke and Nick, will both be in attendance -- but his ex-wife Linda didn't make the guest list.

As we first reported, Hulk applied for a marriage license last month -- and we're told L.A.-based spiritual guru Dr. Michael Beckwith will perform the ceremony.

Hogan Fan Told to Remove Gear

A fan who attended WWE RAW in Orlando, Florida recently dressed in Hulk Hogan gear was asked by arena security to remove the gear and was given a "Stand Up for WWE" shirt in return. The fan, who has been identified as Zachariah Dandera, claims that he spent more than $700 on tickets for that night's show, as well as the Hogan gear. Dandera also claims that he was told that he would not be permitted to stay in the arena without removing all of the Hogan gear and putting on the WWE shirt he was given instead.

As many people know, WWE has a very strict policy on giving any sort of "free promotion" for any talent who appears for any rival promotion, i.e. Hogan in TNA. The company does reserve the right to ask any fan wearing any gear of that nature at any event to remove it or risk ejection from the arena.

Former WWE Star Blasts Shawn Michaels

On the latest episode of "Highway 2 Helms", former WWE star "Hurrican" Shane Helms' weekly web show, co-host Marty Gardner asked Helms who his least favorite wrestler of all-time is. His answer? Shawn Michaels. Helms stated that Michaels was one of his idols growing up, but "he really let me down as a person". Helms then went on to really tear into Michaels, saying he believes Michaels is "the biggest hypocrite in the business" and that "his whole religious gimmick is a f***ing work".

Helms said that he doesn't discount Michaels ring work and says that his matches with The Undertaker are some of the greatest matches of all-time, but as a person Michaels is a "cock-eyed cross-eyed piece of sh**.

Helms then told a story about being so angry at Michaels at a show last year that he wanted to hit him, not caring if he got fired by WWE over it. Michaels was having an argument with Chris Jericho at catering and was verbally attacking Jericho, which Helms did not agree with. Helms did not explain what the issue between Michaels and Jericho was about.

Helms went on to say Michaels is "one of the biggest drug users in the history of the business...who has snorted more coke and done more steroids" than anybody else in wrestling.
