Mickie James Not Ruling Out Return To WWE

TNA Women's Knockout Champion Mickie James was asked on her official website if she would ever return to WWE.

"This is a tough question that I often get asked and usually avoid answering. I can't say that I never will or would go back to the WWE." James said.

"I honestly never intended on leaving until I retired. However we don’t choose our destiny. We just live it. I am very happy at TNA and am enjoying my time here for as long as it lasts. I’ve had a lot of opportunities to grow inside and out as a performer, artist, and a woman. One really never knows what tomorrow holds. That's why you make the most of every moment. Good, bad, or indifferent, and own it like only you can."

She also gave her thoughts on the WWE Hall of Fame, writing: "To be inducted in to the Hall of Fame is a huge honor for any one person in this industry. It not only gives you credibility as the mark you made in the pages of history to the fans, but notoriety for the path you paved for everyone who followed in your footsteps."

James Comments on Her Fan Who Was Arrested, WWE Releasing Her and More

Former WWE Diva Mickie James recently appeared on the Busted Open satellite radio show. Here are some of the highlights:

Mickie on being released: "I really don't know what happened. I was doing interviews for the draft that morning and then a couple of hours later, I got the phone call. I was baffled. I guess they just wanted to make a roster change."

Mickie on working for another company: "I don't know. Never say never. My focus right now is on the album and you cannot wrestle for a certain amount of time anyway, so I have some time to take a look at it."

Mickie on Piggy James: "It was definitely one of those difficult storylines to do because it did touch really close to home. It sucked people into the storyline and to get the retribution at the end... You can completely embrace it and knock it out of the park."

Mickie on her crazed fan who was recently arrested: "I have a lot of friends that work in the Headquarters. I would never want anybody to do that. I appreciate him being a fan and everything else, but that is a little much. Anger never solves anything."

Mickie James Made Advances on Two Married Superstars

Source: Wrestling Observer

This week's issue of the Wrestling Observer reports that Mickie James was moved to SmackDown this past fall because she'd didn't professionally handle breaking up a relationship from a top WWE star, thus resulting in company officials separating the two on different brands. For those curious, the wrestler in question is John Cena, who James knew full well is a married man.

Reportedly, James had become too much of a nuisance backstage at WWE events and some people in power wanted her "out of their hair."

Also note, this is not the first time in which a top WWE star involved in relationship has denied her advances as she tried hooking up with Randy Orton when she was just starting out on the main roster several years ago. Orton, who was engaged to be married, turned her down.

Story on the release of Mickie James

A story on F4WOnline.com claims that WWE Diva Mickie James was released, in part, due to problems on the recent European tour.

According to the report, James was late for the bus on multiple occasions, and her tardiness held transportation up each time. That issue was considered the straw that broke the camel's back for Mickie, on whom management had soured in recent months.

The James release had been expected going back several months (with rumors stemming from the 'demotion' to SmackDown! and the Piggy James angle; both, in part, were traced to management's unfavorable view of her standing), and it now finally has come to fruition.

Mickie James Ready for Life Outside the Ring

Four-time WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James tells WWE.com that she is looking forward to expand her professional career beyond World Wrestling Entertainment. “If I was to accomplish anything outside of the continuous growth of my WWE career, it would be to star in at least one movie,” Mickie said in a wwe.com Superstar 2 Superstar interview with Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls.

“I have always dreamed of being a star on the big screen.” When asked about the challenges of life on the road, James says staying upbeat is difficult, especially when she’s worn out and fans want her attention. “I find it especially challenging when we come off a long tour and fly into town our fans are at the airport waiting for autographs,” she said. “We are all exhausted and can’t wait to get to our hotels.” She added, But then I think if it weren’t for their loyalty to us, we wouldn’t be who we are today. Besides, I was once one of those.”

Maria Talks on Boyfriends, the Next Diva in Playboy

The UK Sun has posted a new interview with WWE Diva and Playboy covergirl Maria Kanellis on their website. Some highlights:

What She Looks For In a Boyfriend: “I may kick some butt out there, but at the end of the day I’m still a girl and I still wont to be treated like one. I need someone who is romantic even when I’m in my pyjamas and watching some terrible movie and eating burnt popcorn. If you can still have fun when you’re doing that, that’s when its really romantic. That’s what makes a real relationship. And, you know, if I’m treated like a woman then I’ll treat you like a man. That’s the basic structure of a relationship. If I can count on you, if I can trust you, if I can laugh with you and be myself then that’s everything that I look for.”

Getting Traded to SmackDown: “The WWE’s annual draft is always such a scary thing for me because I’ve been on Raw for almost four years. It was especially scary for me this year, because I had this feeling in my gut that I would move. But when I made it past that Monday night Raw when they were doing the draft on TV, I thought that I was in the clear. But then I got a phone call the next morning about the draft and I have to say that instantly I burst into tears. I was so close with the girls over on Raw, the guys on Raw that I was very scared and timid moving over to Smackdown and I’m still getting used to it.

The Next WWE Diva to do Playboy:
“I’ve heard rumours that it’s going to be Kelly Kelly this year and I’d like to see her or Mickie James do it. If I had the opportunity to do Playboy again, I definitely would – especially if it was together with one of those two. I think that it would be a great shoot and a great thing to go back to. Plus it’s always hot to see two women naked together!”

Cena and James Romance Appears Over

From: LordsofPain.net

The John Cena and Mickie James relationship that we've seen forming recently on Raw has been kiboshed. Apparently, they have an on-and-off again relationship in real life and rather than put themselves through that on television, they decided to keep it private. Cena was asked recently what he would do all over again if he could and he stated his relationship with Mickie James which was more than likely referring to his "shoot" relationship as opposed to their TV hook-up as they dropped that without any type of explanation.

Why Was Kelly Kelly Moved to RAW?

From: LordsofPain.net

On Monday's Raw it was announced in a backstage segment featuring Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, and John Cena, that Kelly was now a part of the Raw roster. WWE.com has moved her profile from the ECW section to the Raw section. Kelly was likely moved due to the shortage of babyface women's wrestlers on the Raw brand as Mickie James was the only active one (Melina - out for five months due to heel injury, Candice Michelle - out until at least SummerSlam due to clavicle injury, Ashley Massaro - released).

Wrestlers Share Thoughts on the Draft and Moves

From: PWPIX.net

WWE.com has posted an article on the emotions of some of the wrestlers following last week's Drafts. Regarding Maria, they wrote: "For Maria, the change was more bittersweet; the Playboy cover girl was sad to leave all of her close Raw friends behind. "[Women's Champion] Mickie James looked at me all day long today, and every time she looked like she was about to cry." Maria is keeping her head up though, and looking forward to becoming good friends with the Sexiest Women on Friday night Television." On the other hand, former ECW Diva Layla is optimistic about her move to Raw. "I know for a fact that there are bigger and better things coming and I'm going to work really hard to do a great job here and shine as much as I can," she said. On his move to SmackDown, Triple H said, "My initial reaction was shock. I've always considered myself to be a franchise player of [WWE's] flagship show, Monday Night Raw. The switch to SmackDown is definitely going to be a bit of an adjustment." The article also features comments from Kofi Kingston and Jeff Hardy.

Cena and James Dating On and Off TV?

Sources: WrestlingHerald.com

John Cena has been seen on WWE television with Mickie James a lot over the past several weeks. The decision to use the two together was based on a real-life relationship that has developed between the two. It was actually Vince McMahon's idea to use Cena and James' behind-the-scenes romance and turn it into a WWE storyline. James had been dating Kenny Dykstra, but they are no longer a couple.
