Two names being tossed around for the role of Michael Cole's special referee in the WrestleMania 27 match against Jerry Lawler are Vickie Guerrero and believe it or not, Steve Austin. It could just be that Austin does an angle with Vickie on next week's RAW or something as she is expected to be there.

It looks like Victoria Crawford, known to SmackDown fans as Vickie Guerrero and Edge’s wedding planner Alicia Fox, may be returning to WWE’s SmackDown brand here soon. Alicia has been missing from TV for a few months and hasn’t appeared on any WWE developmental shows in Tampa until this past Thursday night when she teamed with Jack Gabriel to defeat ECW Diva Tiffany and Scotty Goldman. Alicia was pulled from the SmackDown opening video a few weeks back but is still scheduled to be in an upcoming set of WWE trading cards. I guess it’s likely that she can make her return when Edge is brought back.

The current plans call for The Undertaker to get involved in the Edge-Vickie storyline. It appears as though Vickie will use her 'boss/general manger' powers to make Edge (who screwed her over by cheating with the wedding planner) to face 'Taker, likely at SummerSlam.

Matt - Also they showed Taker several times Saturday night at the "Affliction: Banned" PPV sitting near ringside. Also there was Stone Cold Steve Austin, who famous ring announcer called Stone Cold Austin.

Last week, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero came to Edge’s aid, preventing utter destruction from Big Show. Now, with “The Family” issues settled, the reconciled couple will tie the knot on SmackDown.

Will the wedding distract the Rated-R Superstar from knocking WWE Champion Triple H off his throne at The Great American Bash? Or, will the officially united power couple work together to bring gold back to "The Family"? What might The Game have to say about things just two days before The Great American Bash?

Shelton Benjamin celebrated his reemergence on SmackDown with an important non-title win over ECW’s United States Champion Matt Hardy. Can Benjamin capitalize on his success and bring the coveted championship back to Friday nights? Or will Hardy twist the fate of the Gold Standard?

Although Mr. Kennedy proved victorious over Domino, his real conflict was with guest commentator and former friend, Montel Vontavious Porter. After Kennedy made a crack at MVP’s expense before the match, a telling stare between the two allowed the Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga, to steamroll an unsuspecting Kennedy. Could this incident fuel the fire between the Green Bay Loudmouth & the Ballin’ Superstar?

Meanwhile, Finlay & Hornswoggle continued to be a thorn in the side of WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison, scoring a non-title victory with the help of the Belfast brawler’s shillelagh. Will the champions ever be able to move past the father-son combination? Or could their titles drown in a sea of green?

After scoring a tag-team victory over Michelle McCool & Cherry, with her partner Maryse, Natalya attacked her Great American Bash opponent with a devastating suplex outside the ring. Will McCool be able to get revenge on the third-generation Diva before they do battle for the new Divas Championship? Or will Natalya prove to be too much to handle?

The devastating Vladimir Kozlov continued his undefeated streak. Is there anyone who can stop the Moscow Mauler?

Prowrestling.net is reporting that although Edge "broke up" with Vickie Guerrero on Smackdown last week and called off their wedding, WWE creative is still looking to have a wedding take place in the future. There is no official word at this time as to why they postponed the idea, but speculation is that it may have to do with them wanting The Undertaker's return to interrupt the ceremony. The original plan was to have the wedding take place on this Friday's Smackdown broadcast.

WWE.com has learned that 12-time World Champion Triple H will kick off SmackDown. What will The King of Kings have to say about his new home just days before he defends his title against John Cena at Night of Champions?

Last week, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero stacked the deck when she named her fiancé Edge the guest referee in the match between Chavo Guerrero and Batista. What might Guerrero do this week, just days before The Ultimate Opportunist defends his World Heavyweight Championship against The Animal at Night of Champions?

Although SmackDown gained new Superstars in the 2008 WWE Draft, it also lost some, including Rey Mysterio, who will make his last appearance on SmackDown this week. What will the Master of the 619 have to say to our fans as he heads to Raw?

Last Week, General Manager Vickie Guerrero released yet another firestorm when she announced that at the Extreme pay-per-view, the vacant World Heavyweight Championship would finally be decided in a TLC Match between Undertaker and Edge. However, Guerrero quickly made it personal when she added the startling stipulation that if The Phenom loses, he must leave WWE forever. After Undertaker won a fierce match against Chavo Guerrero later that night - with Edge, Vickie, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, and Bam Neely in tow - how will “the family” react on the doorstep of the One Night Stand? With the World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance, rest assured that the Ultimate Opportunist and the “love of his life” will have something up their sleeve.

After Shawn Michaels’ controversial win at their last meeting at Backlash, the stage has been set for a brutal Stretcher Match between The Showstopper and Batista at One Night Stand.
