Could a Referee be Joining "Legacy"?
It appears that WWE is working towards referee Scott Armstrong working with Randy Orton and his Legacy group. On tonight’s RAW, Armstrong counted to three in Orton’s match with Kane when it clearly was a two count, as shown on the replays. Armstrong, who would be considered second generation, walked away from the ring like nothing had happened, ignoring Kane’s pleas.
Maybe they’re doing something with Orton, Rhodes and DiBiase employing the services of the second generation referee. Armstrong is the older son of Bob Armstrong and the brother of Brad, Steve and Brian (BG James in TNA). Armstrong has wrestled over the years but has refereed for WWE since 2006, after having stints with WCW and TNA.
