Official WWE SmackDown! Preview For Tonight
Source: WWE.com
WWE Champion Triple H and former World Heavyweight Champion Edge both retained their respective titles at Night of Champions, and SmackDown was poised to be home to two World titles under its blue hue. That is, until Batista attacked Edge on Monday Night Raw, and CM Punk cashed in his "Money in the Bank" contract to defeat the Rated-R Superstar for the gold.
Triple H will be a guest on MVP's VIP Lounge this Friday, and The Game will certainly be on top of the world as the only World Champion on the show. What will Triple H have to say about Night of Champions? What will the Ballin' Superstar have to say to The Game? And will Edge have anything to say after his shocking loss this past Monday?
With just one week until the wedding of the year between Edge and SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero, will the GM continue handing her groom-to-be pre-wedding gifts? Will the powerful "Family" continue to make life hell for SmackDown while they put the finishing touches on the nuptials?
United States Champion Matt Hardy will make a special appearance this Friday as America celebrates Independence Day. Hardy will put his title up for grabs in a Fatal Four Way Match on the Fourth against Chavo Guerrero and SmackDown newcomers, Shelton Benjamin and Mr. Kennedy. Will Hardy keep the title around his waist or will one of his opponents step up and make a name for himself?
And what about the new Divas Championship? When will Natayla find out who she will face for the coveted new title? And when will the title finally be contested?
Tune in to Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 CT only on The CW Network to witness all the fallout from Night of Champions.

Does anyone even watch Smackdown! anyways ? I swear I almost prefer TNA over it.
ECW and Smackdown! need to merge, somehow turn into Raws arch enemy and get back to the days of Raw vs. Nitro.
And a final thought...MOVING TRIPLE H TO SMACKDOWN! WAS THE WORST IDEA SINCE THE XFL !!! Moving The Game to a show that nobdy watches isn't what I would expect from a great business man such as Vincent Kennedy McMahon. WTF were you thinkin Vince !!
Bring back Brett and renew the rival with HBK. THAT would boost ratings !!
