Mysterio to Sit 30 Days Starting September 2nd
WWE issued the following statement: “In accordance with WWE’s Wellness Program, effective Wednesday, September 2, Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) is suspended for 30 days for a violation of the company’s policy.”
Rey Mysterios’s suspension doesn’t start until September 2nd, this Wednesday. This gives WWE time to take the title off of him next Tuesday night. Dolph Ziggler is expected to end up with the belt because those were the original plans for Night of Champions, which was scrapped at the last minute.
There are some rumblings that the WWE Wellness test that Rey Mysterio failed took place three to four weeks ago, around the time of his vacation.
