Let's get ready to suck it!!!!

DX, one more time= thousands of dollars in glow sticks. Hard to think this will be the last time we see DX in the WWE, just for the sake of selling merchandise alone. It was great seeing Triple H and HBK up to their old antics. O yeah they had a match too. And what a great match it was. Despite the almost 5 minute commercial break at the start of the match the match was great. I know we now will not see any combination of DX versus their rivals tonight at Survivor series, but I would hate to see this mix end hear. We know DX works great together, but Umaga with Orton is a great combo. Umaga's brutality combined with Orton's cockiness give us such a great combination of heels. I feel this would be a great side story to keep going for awhile until we start to establish the stories for Mania. This way you can keep the fans guessing as to who Orton may drop the title to and also keep both HBK and Triple H in the running for the championship, and let's not forget about Umaga. This guy really raises his level with the big dogs of the WWE and would be sad to see him possible fade away into obscurity. I don't feel he is champ material now, if ever, but he gives some great matches and always rises to the challenges of main eventing. Plus with keeping DX around a little while longer it always leaves the door open for a betrayal of the members.

Raw also offered up an interesting topic I have been advocating for awhile. The removal of the separate brands and uniting the company again. We have already seen the talent sharing between ECW and Smack Down. From what we have been seeing I feel it has benefited both brands, especially ECW with its very weak roster. By combining all the brands, it first eliminates the panic caused by mass injuries like we have sen this past year. Every time Smack Down tried to build a big program for its title the major player ended up being hurt. People, for the love of Funaki, we crowned the Great Khali champ, and we know nobody wants to see that. With combined rosters we will have solid shows for each night, they can develop great story lines outside the run for championships, and give us solid pay per views each month. It looks like it has been turning the corner recently and this would only add to the momentum. Tonight proved it by adding some of the stars from Smack Down and ECW. Granted some were in comic relief or used for eye candy, but I'm growing tired of seeing matches like tonight's Snitsky/Jobber match. This was a dark match that had no place being on prime time and if the WWE wants to increase its exposure it needs to treat its televised shows with more respect. Combine the rosters and make the shows what they should be, a showcase for your best talent. Leave the jobbers where they belong, for the house shows.
