New Rock Movie Doing Well

On it's opening weekend "Get Smart" featuring Dwayne Johnson debuted as the top film at the box office, earning an estimated $39.2 million. Johnson wanted be part of the film so bad, he was willing to take a smaller role and pay cut in order to take part in the ensemble cast, which also features Anne Hatheway and Steve Carrell. "The Love Guru" starring Mike Meyers, which was believed to have been the prime opposition for "Get Smart" since both are comedies, didn't even come close to it. "The Incredible Hulk", which is a fun film, placed second.
