Story on Vince McMahon Getting his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Vince McMahon Gets Star on Hollywood Blvd.

Well, he is an entertainer...

Vince McMahon, World Wrestling Entertainment's head honcho, and the man who turned regional pro wrestling into a multi-billion dollar business, got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday morning.

Flanked by his son, Shane McMahon and wrestler (and son-in-law) Triple H, McMahon joked that he didn't want people to walk on his star, drawing jeers from the wrestling fans on Hollywood Blvd.

Despite going head to head with the World Wildlife Fund and the NFL, losing both times, to say nothing of a string of bad publicity related to steroid use in wrestling that culminated in the murder-suicide of Chris Benoit and his family, McMahon has managed to keep wrestling incredibly popular and profitable.

McMahon's latest pay-per-view event, WrestleMania XXIV, takes place March 30
