WWE One Night Stand Preview

WWE's One Night Stand is Sunday night in Jacksonville, FL. The show is highlighted by all matches having some sort of extreme stipulation. There are seven scheduled matches, with one more possibly coming with Kane vs Mark Henry being the rumored match they keep talking about. Here is our preivew of the card:

Falls Count Anywhere Match for the WWE Championship: Champion John Cena vs The Great Khali - Rematch of Judgement Day from two weeks ago. They continue to push Khali, yet he was beaten somewhat with ease with a submission at Judgement Day, making this match somewhat of a yawn in my opinion. Pretty much everyone knows that Khali is not getting the belt, so this match has to go to Cena. They again will protect Khali to make him look good, but they have to have Cena get over in this one.

Street Fight for the ECW Championship: Champion Vince McMahon vs Bobby Lashley - I expect to finally see Lashley get the strap back here, simply to start having title matches again on ECW. Lashley has been round and round with McMahon, and here you can expect to see a ton of interferece from Vince's posse, and in the end, it will come down to Bobby beating them off and finally being able to go one on one with Vince. I expect to see Vinnie take a bump or get hit by a weapon to lose this one and give the belt back to Lashley.

Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Champion Edge vs Batista - Edge beat Batista with a weak roll up at Judgement Day, and this one should be a bit better just with the stip of a steel cage around the two. No doubt that Edge will keep the belt here, as the long term plan is for him to have the belt for sometime, so while Batista and he will continue their feud after this, you can bet your bottom dollar and Edge will find a win here.

Ladder Match for the World Tag Team Championship: Champs The Hardys vs Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas - This will be the show stealer, as Benjamin and both Hardy's are great in these types of matches, which means that this should be a solid match. Haas is the wild card here, but at the same time he's a good worker, so I expect him to be good in this match as well. I can see a title switch here, as I know that the plan long term is still for Matt and Jeff Hardy to wrestle as single wrestlers.

Non-title Pudding Match: Champ Melina vs Candice Michelle - Not much to say about this one, other than any sort of actual wrestling will be a bit tough in a vat of pudding. Michelle has been on a roll, so she, in this non-title match, will likely somehow get the pin. This should be short, and no pun intended, sweet.

Six-Man Tag Team Tables Match: CM Punk, Sandman, & Tommy Dreamer vs Marcus Cor Von, Elijah Burke, & Matt Striker - This is the nice way of getting a bunch of ECW guys in a match, just like they did with the 8-man match at WrestleMania 23. I expect most of this match to focus on Punk and Bukre, as they are the two guys that are going to be pushed heavily in the next few months of ECW.
