Update on the Nasty Boys and the WWE?

From: WrestleScoop.com

WWE developmental Diva Angela announced last night that next week’s FCW TV Tapings in Tampa, FL at the FCW Arena would be dubbed the “Night of Legends.” Scheduled to appear are “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart and former WWE Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags.

It’s interesting to see The Nasty Boys working in any capacity with WWE again. WWE let them have a tryout match back in November of 2007 before the SmackDown tapings in Tampa. Reports from the show said Knobbs and Sags looked rough in the ring, displayed bad behavior and generally caused problems with the entire match. Obviously they weren’t signed and we didn’t hear much after that other than there was a little bit of heat on them from within the company.

No word yet if this appearance with WWE developmental will turn into something on the big show, but we should have more this weekend or early next week. The Nasty Boys were last seen working for a major promotion in 1997 with WCW. You can often catch Knobbs with Hulk Hogan on Brooke Knows Best or reruns of Hogan Knows Best.
